– Thinking about Body-Mind Connectivity.
– How Body is sculpted in shape and through space & time.
– Understanding deeper sense of self.
– Understanding your psychological make up in relation to your preferred movement pattern and coping style.
– Understanding infantile movement patterns and how they influence our current movement patterns
About the facilitator:-
Rashi holds a double Masters degree in Dance Movement Psychotherapy and Clinical Psychology. She is the Founder, President of Asha Hai – a project working towards the inclusive education for children with special needs. Her experience as an accomplished Bharatnatyam dancer further confirms her confidence that dance and movement enhance the smooth interaction of the mind and body. In keeping with her ideology, she is a consultant Dance Movement Psychotherapist at various centers for children in Delhi. In 2012 she started her unique forum to bring together various professionals of the Creative Arts field, called the Centre For Dance Movement Psychotherapy (CDMP). Her therapies are not just limited to children but also to adolescents and adults with mental health issues and addiction. In her quest to diversify her work, Rashi also conducts parenting and childcare workshops for parents at schools as well as hospitals.
